Psychotherapy at CPOC is an evidence-based, collaborative process that offers a safe, confidential space to address emotional, psychological, and existential challenges. It is grounded in the understanding that meaningful change happens when people feel supported in exploring their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships with compassion and skilled guidance. Our psychotherapy sessions draw from multiple approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to reframe unhelpful patterns, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to align actions with values, interpersonal therapy (IPT) to strengthen relationships, mindfulness-based practices for greater self-awareness, and somatic methods to connect mind and body.

We work with clients facing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship
difficulties, role transitions, and the emotional impacts of cancer or serious
illness. This work can help you strengthen coping strategies, process
unresolved loss, clarify priorities, and restore a sense of balance.
Psychotherapy at CPOC is not only about relieving distress— it’s about
deepening self-understanding, enhancing relationships, andreconnecting
with purpose and vitality.
