Mother Loss Grief Coaching

Caroline, Miguel & Viviana GraceMother Loss Grief Coaching at the Center for Psycho-Oncology Care offers a compassionate and grounded space for those navigating the profound loss of a mother.

Developed and facilitated by Dr. Caroline Cárdenas, this service blends grief-informed practices, neuroscience, and somatic awareness with a deep understanding of the lifelong impact mother loss can have on identity, relationships, and well-being.

In these sessions, clients are gently guided to explore their grief story, uncover its emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions, and connect with the enduring threads of love, belonging, and self-compassion that remain. The process honors both the pain and the beauty inherent in this form of loss—offering space to remember, to release, and to reimagine life in a way that integrates the mother’s influence into one’s continuing story.

Dr. Caroline draws on her expertise as a Psycho-Oncology coach, grief coach, and researcher, creating a safe environment rooted in cultural sensitivity, presence, and respect for each person’s unique grieving process. While Mother Loss Grief Coaching is not psychotherapy, it offers powerful tools, rituals, and practices for meaning-making, self-care, and emotional resilience.

At the Center for Pyscho-Oncology Care, we hold these sessions as sacred opportunities to walk alongside our clients—supporting them in honoring their mother’s legacy, tending to the places where love and longing meet, and finding ways to carry that connection forward into the rest of their lives.
