Surviving cancer still brings uncertainties.
You survived and made it through cancer treatment and thought everything might return to what it was like before. But you feel worse in some ways, which is not what you expected. There are some residual side effects, and you are still not feeling yourself.
It is demoralizing to keep feeling the way you do – making you wonder if it is depression. You wonder, “Where did everybody go? Shouldn’t I feel happy that I made it?” Rather than feeling confident, you are uncertain how to pick up all the pieces, creating a high level of unease.
Our services for cancer survivors will help you navigate this part of your experience so you can begin to pick up the pieces and feel whole again.
We have individual therapy where you can focus on specific issues you are grappling with related to cancer survivorship. We also offer several group programs that cancer survivors may find beneficial.
Thriving Beyond Cancer: ACT Tele Therapy Group for Cancer Survivors
Embark on an 8-week program of reclaiming life after cancer with our Survivors ACT Group Program. These gatherings will focus on embracing change and cultivating a renewed mindset for those in remission or identifying as survivors.
Participants explore emotional, physical, and mental changes resulting from treatment, guided by evidence-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Engage in discussions covering coping mechanisms, reflections on the transformative nature of cancer, managing fears of recurrence, addressing grief and loss, resuming or discovering new activities, adapting to changes in appearance, and fostering a renewed outlook on life.
This empowering group meets over a secure online platform.
Breaking the Cycle: CBT Teletherapy Group for Cancer-Related Pain and Fatigue
Embark on a transformative 7-week program with our Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) group dedicated to managing chronic pain and fatigue brought on by cancer and its treatment.
Explore practical strategies such as relaxation techniques, effective activity pacing, and coping with challenging thoughts about pain and fatigue. Engage in meaningful discussions with fellow participants, sharing experiences and insights.
This secure online meeting is for one hour each week and provides a supportive and collaborative space.
Using the Power of Your Resilient Brain for Peak Performance: Cognitive Training Teletherapy Group for Cancer Survivors
